Today, the world is going through cutthroat competition in all spheres of the market fueled by innovations leading to the generation of a huge amount of data and the growing need for more  secure and reliable storage providers.
In this article, we will compare the three giants in the Cloud Storage Industry, Digiboxx, Alibaba object cloud storage, and Amazon AWS. All three companies represent a different economy and hail from India, China, and the United States of America respectively.

Digiboxx is an Indian tech startup and is India’s first cloud storage company, founded by Arnab Mitra, Ashish Jalan, and Vivek Suchanti with Arnab Mitra being the chief executive officer. Arnab Mitra also happens to be the MD of LQVD ASIA, a Digital Marketing Agency, in collaboration with the concept group.
Its user-friendly interface caters to the growing need of individuals, enterprises, and large-scale businesses. It claims to be secure, accessible, and have various features

Amazon Web services (AWS) is one of amazon’s various businesses which were started in the year 2006 .by offering IT infrastructure services to businesses in the form of web services which further developed to be known as cloud.
As explained by the following graph we can see the revenue share of AWS in the total revenue of the company.

AWS Revenue v/s AMAZON Revenue

AWS contributed $25.655 billion that is 11% of total revenue in 2018 and $35.026 billion that is 12% of total revenue and $45.370 billion that is again around 12% of total revenue. It grew by 32% year-over-year from $10.23 billion in 2020 Q1.

Founded in September 2009, Alibaba Cloud has emerged to be China’s largest cloud storage provider also known by the name of Aliyun. As explained by the following graph we can see the revenue share of Alibaba cloud in the total revenue of the company

Revenue among various Category

Alibaba cloud contributed $36.50 billion that is around  6% of total revenue in 2019 and $57.00 billion that is 7% of total revenue and $89.70 billion that is again around 8% of total revenue.

Such High Revenue!!!

Digiboxx offers both a free as well as a paid version for individual users. The free version of the service offers up to 20GB of space of storage and the maximum file size which can be uploaded is 2GB but it is only limited to individual users.
The paid version however starts at an affordable Rs 30 per month and offers up to 2TB storage space and the maximum file size which can be uploaded is 10GB.
For SMB’s the pricing starts from inr999 monthly up to 25TBspace and a maximum 10 GB file size and post that there is a customized solution with no maximum file size and unlimited external collaborators
Check detailed pricing and features below:

AWS uses a pay-as-you-go pricing model for over 160 cloud services
With AWS you pay only for what you use like in our day-to-day lives we pay only for the amount of water we use similarly with AWS. There are no extra costs and payment is to be made according to usage. FOR EXAMPLE: If you use 100 TB of data per month you have to pay approximately USD 125.00 File gateway
fee (monthly) And Data transfer cost of 10,035.11 USD (monthly)

Other features of the AWS pricing model are

AWS also offers Savings Plans for savings over On-Demand in exchange for a prior commitment to using a specific amount of cloud storage for a specified period. PAYLESS USE MORE

With this feature, discounts can be taken based on the volume of use. It is beneficial when we know that usage is going to increase and how to save from there.

In Alibaba, OSS fees are calculated based on the amount of data storage used and the number of API requests made. Capacity costs are $0.0185per GB monthly with downstream data transfer fees starting at$0.076 per GB with free upstream. Max Compute records the volume of data stored in each project on an hourly basis and then calculates the average volume of data stored for the day. The storage fee is equal to the average volume of data stored multiplied by the unit price.
The following table describes the billing rules for data stored in a

MaxCompute project.
≤ 1 GB
> 1 GB
USD 0.0006 per GB per day

For example, if the daily average data volume of a project is 10 TB, the daily storage fee is calculated by using the following formula:
(10240 – 1) GB × USD 0.0006 per GB per day
= USD 6.1434 per day
So, if we compare it to 100TB monthly the cost would be
USD 6.1434 *10(CONVERTING TO 100TB) * 30 = USD 1843.02AWS

Such high pricing and i didn't knew!!!

employees and a revenue of more than 1000m dollars. Some companies using Alibaba cloud are Google. inc,, and

Based on the information available about these companies, one thing can be ascertained. Even if their data centers are spread across the world to suit each country’s data laws, they have all adopted the technology of yesterday, centralized storage, which has time and again shown us its flaws regardless of innovations in the field. Regardless of how strong you make a traditional lock and key, it would never compete with the likes of an advanced home security system that uses cameras, fingerprints, and encryption to unlock itself. Similarly, regardless of how advanced we make traditional centralized storage solutions, it would never compete with the likes of the future of storage, which is decentralized.
